Zee Nxumalo Drops ‘Sobabili’ Feat. MFR Souls And Profound. In anticipation of his upcoming release, “KwaNxumalo (Deluxe),” Zee Nxumalo collaborates with MFR Souls and Profound on a new summer blockbuster.
Following the release of her amapiano-leaning track titled “Sobabili,” which features amapiano pioneers MFR Souls and Profound, 20-year-old afropop artist Zee Nxumalo is back with a bang.
The brand-new song serves as the lead single for Zee’s upcoming album, “KwaNxumalo (Deluxe),” which is expected to include such notable local artists as award-winning singers Azana and Mlindo The Vocalist. The publication date is February 10.
Zee Nxumalo, who was 19 at the time, made a splash on the music world last year with her mesmerizing afropop hits “Siyajola,” “Hamba,” and “Pholile,” which featured Azana.
She then released her debut EP, “KwaNxumalo,” which led to her being named South Africa’s next major star by various media publications. In the midst of all of this, she found success with her song “Maphupho,” a collaboration with Zandimaz that went viral on TikTok.
My first year as a professional artist was last year, and so far it has been a lot of fun and enlightening, says Zee. “I finally feel like I’m settling in and making sense of things in the music business today.
