The Canadian musician has just released a deluxe edition of his “Starboy” albums, and it bears so many lyrical treats within.
The original “Starboy” project was released as far back as 2016, and although it was a massive success back then, the songster resisted pressure to release a deluxe – well, until now.
It is unclear what motivated him to wait this long before really a deluxe version of the project, still there is no denying the potency of the latest project.
The deluxe version was more of a surprise release and popped on streaming platforms on Tuesday. the reception so far indicates that fans are chuffed with what the songster has put together.
The latest compilation bears exactly 29 tracks, beginning with an eponymous number and ending with the Daft Punk-featured “I Feel It Coming.” Lane Del Rey, Ariana Grande, A$AP Rocky, Young Thug and Future are the other musicians on the project.
What’s in a title? In this case, we would say a lot, for The Weeknd shows with this project that he is still very much on top of his game as a musician. This is one body of work to enjoy even beyond the weekend.
