Nomcebo Zikode pens down open letter as she insists she wrote Jerusalema

The feud between Nomcebo Zikode and Open Mic Productions appears to be far from over, as the singer has written an open letter. Nomcebo accused Open Mic Production of exploitation in 2021.
The matter is still up for debate because she claims to have written and performed the song Jerusalema. She made it clear in the letter that the fight is far from done. She claims that some people have tried to dull her light and minimize her accomplishments, but she is undeterred.

“Be yourself, everyone else is taken,” Nomcebo wrote. In my native language, isiZulu, I wrote and performed “JERUSALEMA.” Its international popularity has been recognized, and it is now the highest-paying song in South Africa, attaining Gold Status @riaa awards. Despite the fact that some individuals have sought to dull my light and diminish my work and achievement, my narrative is far from over. I’ve lived a fantastic life with amazing people who have helped me through my ups and downs.

“I’m proud of myself, and I know that my voice will always be associated with this amazing achievement.”

Thank you, God, and thank you, all of my backers.
