Alleged Assault: Emtee Granted Bail. Emtee and Nicole Chinsamy, who is frequently referred to be his wife, are still embroiled in conflict.
The woman, who is supposed to have been seven months pregnant at the time, was allegedly assaulted by him.
Yet he insisted that he would never raise his hands against a woman, or anybody else for that matter, and disputed the assault allegations.
Nicole, however, interrupted his Instagram live video and appeared with photographs that showed that he had actually attacked and hurt Nicole.
The camera was instantly panned away from her by the “Prayer” chanter. Many were persuaded by this act that he had actually attacked her.
Nonetheless, it quickly became clear that Emtee turned himself in to the police in response to accusations that he assaulted Nicole Chinsamy.
Police spokesperson Mavel Masondo confirmed the songster had turned himself in on Wednesday, March 8, and was charged to court the same day.
Masondo also noted that Emtee was charged at the Midrand’s Magistrate Court the same day he turned himself in. He was also granted bail.
These events apparently contradicted what Emtee had claimed earlier. But the recent spat with Nicole wouldn’t surprise anyone who has been following his relationship with her. The two have had sporadic fights which spilt into social media, with Emtee claiming that Nicole’s family were after his life.
