Kiernan “AKA” Forbes has just revealed how many bottles of Cruz Vodka Watermelon & Banana Deluxe he has sold so far. He is the brains behind the making of both drinks by the Cruz family. His collaboration sees him take a cut from the profits made from the dale of both, which have his name on them.
The celebrated rapper recently took to Twitter, where he revealed the sales figures for both drinks, citing that they were released by Distell, probably an associated company. The report indicated that Cruz Vodka Watermelon and Banana Deluxe had sold a total of 1.2 million bottles.
By the way, AKA had earlier claimed that his deal with Cruz Vodka had completely opened the industry and made it easy for others to do something similar. It is unclear if he was indirectly shading his rival Cassper Nyovest, who recently delved into the alcohol business.
Anyway, AKA recently announced that his deal with Cruz will soon come to an end. He’s planning something for himself – probably a personal alcohol brand. Until then, stay tuned.
